LuLaBros on FIRE!
LuLaBro of Chandra Stettner | Kinmgan, AZ
Hey guys! So I was talking with Jeff and thought it would be a neat idea to come on and talk a little bit about ourselves and what we did before LLR, or what we currently do for a job. In case some of you haven't heard, Jeff was recently able to quit his job because him and his wife are killing it with there business. So just something to remember when you arent sure if this whole LLR thing is legit. Anyways, heres a little about me.
Born in western Nebraska but lived in Cheyenne, WY most of my life. Me and my wife moved to Arizona about 4 1/2 years ago when she got a job offer down here as a pharmacist. When I was 18 I started an awning and graphics company up with a few people and ended up selling my shares when I was 21. Got a job as an electrician in the oilfield after that and spent the next 7 years doing that. Money was awesome and I certainly lived the bachelor lifestyle to its fullest. Met my wife when i was 27 and took a job that would put me closer to her. Ended up getting electrocuted with over 1,000 volts DC and almost died. While I was recovering from my burns my wife got her job offer down here, so we took the risk and moved down to Arizona. Took a job at a tire factory that took old airplane tires and resurfaced them. A safety device failed and it ended up smashing my middle finger between a steel beam and a hydraulic piston(have some pretty nasty pictures if anyone wants to see lol) After that my wife said if I called her from the ER one more time she was gonna kill me. We had our son the following April and we decided to have me be a stay at home dad. Another daughter followed about 2 years later and shortly after she turned 1 I had planned on going back to work and my wife was pretty much panicking about putting our kids into daycare. Just so happened around this time she found LLR.
She tried her first piece of LLR in October, in November my wife went down and shopped with Tiffany for the first time. Shortly after that she decided this was something she really wanted to do. So her compromise to me going back to work was to start up this business. To say I was hesitant was a HUGE understatement. I looked at it like any other direct sales company and thought "how in the hell are we gonna pay all this money back?" Well I can sit here now and say we earned back our initial investment in our first 30 days! I figured it would take at least 6 months and that was wishful thinking. After that first 30 days, I really stepped in and have run about 90% of the business now. All the girls on the page know me, i've probably even met some of your wives in the multi consultant parties. They probably know me as CH (chandras husband) This certainly isnt something I ever thought i would be doing, but LLR truly has been a blessing to our family. I get to be a stay at home dad still and there isnt a better job in the world. My wife gets first picks of some of the most amazing clothes she has ever worn. The amount of joy and pleasure this business has brought her cannot be understated. We are about 6 months in and we just continue to grow and learn more things. Take this from a guy who is not fashion oriented at all, get behind your women and support them in any way you can! The opportunity with this company is unbelievable and if you dont believe it, just go back to the beginning of this post and remember that Jeff just got to quit his job and work from home, that could be you later this year. Thanks for reading my short story. Look forward to hearing more about all of you guys :)
LuLaBro of Tressa Rowe | Dublin, OH
Hello Friends and fellow Bros on Fire! For my regular work I am an IT Project Manager/Scrum Master, and of course Dad to our seven kids and husband to Tressa. For my LulaRoe work I help Tressa with all things tech, process, and production related activities. For her Facebook Live Feeds and Videos I am her Camera Crew, Key Grip, Production/Set Manager, Best Boy, Gaffer, etc. As we ramp up in sales, I see myself becoming her inventory/shipping/purchasing manager. It's fun!!! In our path to starting with LulaRoe I was the one who kept telling Tressa that she needed to be a part of this. I knew she was made for it! It took her almost two years to come around, but she loves it now and is proving what I already knew :) As far as why I am motivated to help her, I just see so many things that I can naturally contribute to and make a huge and positive impact for her success...since we are a team in life, everyone wins!!! Chris Rowe Bro on Fire :)
LuLaBro of Ripley Fechtmann | Bullhead City, AZ
Hello. LuLaRoe has been quite the experience so far. My wife keeps promising me that she will make a profit eventually. Ha. As the weeks go by I am getting more and more involved with the whole thing. Currently I am working in law enforcement and have been for ten months. My interests including shooting guns, running and video games when I have time. I have a three year old boy that keeps me pretty busy.
LuLaBro of Courtney Francis | Jacksonville, NC
I grew up in a small town in eastern Kentucky. I spent the majority of my youth playing basketball, camping, fishing, helping dad work on cars and cutting grass for money. My brains and family situation qualified me for an all expenses paid scholarship to the University of Kentucky, but after three semesters I was tired of going to school; so I decided to enlist in the United Stated Marine Corps. That's the down and dirty of years 1-20. For the last six years, my wife and I have lived paycheck to paycheck, survived two deployments, one 9 months and one 6 months, to the Mddle East. Through all of that, we battled infertility for over four years before miraculously conceiving our daughter, who was born in October of 2015. That brings me to the present time in the Lularoe Francis household. We just packed up an entire house into a 26' UHaul and moved from NC to SoCal! I am currently an Active Duty Marine dual hatting as the numbers guy/babysitter/secretary for my wife as she continues to grow her Lularoe business. The minute she explained Lularoe to me, I asked her "why haven't you filled out the paperwork yet? Why are you just sitting there not signing up to be a Lularoe Consultant?" So, it's fair to say that I was more anxious to embark on this journey than she was and we have certainly not been disappointed! When I'm not at work or helping out with Lularoe, I'm going to school working towards a Masters degree in Healthcare/Business Management. Ambition is high is this Lulafamily! Come be a part of it! If you prefer to talk via phone or video chat my cell is 606.264.1442, contact me and we can set something up!
LuLaBro of Ashley Long | Las Vegas, NV
Hello everyone. I'm a LuLaBro Husband and I'm happy to support my wife, Ashley Long, as she takes this journey with LuLaRoe. I'm a student at UNLV and I also work as an administrator. I am a Christian man married to a beautiful Christian woman. We both truly believe in giving and loving everyone regardless of who they are and what they believe in! People would call me energetic, well-mannered, and very friendly, a people person. I enjoy anything outdoors, especially hiking, football, and camping. I am a 6th generation Nevadan and my family has taken part in gaining National Conservation Area (NCA) status for every federally protected land in southern Nevada, so natural beauty means a lot to me. Speaking of beauty, I support my wife's decision to become a LuLaRoe consultant because I love how my wife feels and looks when she wears LuLaRoe. I will be helping Ashley with every aspect of LuLaRoe, from setting up and taking down at vendor events and in person pop-ups, to doing periscope and Facebook live sales with her. I am excited to be a part of this team and I cannot wait to meet new people!
LuLaBro of Katie Krause | Round Lake Beach, IL
Hey everyone! My name is Jeremie Plachcinski - I am Katie Krause's boyfriend (LuLaRoe Katie's Kloset) and we have been together now almost 2 years. Together we have 4 children, 2 boys (8 and 12) from my previous marriage and 2 girls from hers (ages 5 and 7). Needless to say, we have our hands full!
I'm 37 and have worked in the transportation business since I was 18. I currently drive a semi-truck and deliver medical supplies to hospitals around the greater Chicagoland area. Aside from LuLaRoe, Katie also works in real estate, so like me, she puts in alot of hours at her job as well. Between both our regular careers, it can definitely be difficult to balance our time with our kids and our new found business, but it has been working out pretty good so far! Hopefully one day we can grow our LuLaRoe business enough that we can slow down on our other jobs and put more focus here.
I will admit, when Katie first told me about getting on board with LuLaRoe, I was very sceptical and not very supportive on the whole idea. We have only been at this since April, but I now see that I was wrong (ok, way wrong!) about this and I am really excited to grow this business as large as we can! Maybe someday I can park my truck and hang up my keys for good and never have to be up at 3am for work anymore....unless it's to invoice another amazing popup!
I know there are many other men out there like me who roll your eyes at your wife/girlfriend/etc when she comes up with yet another crazy idea (come on guys, we've all been there!). But this is one idea that I am proud to admit I was wrong about. LuLaRoe is giving us opportunities that I never thought possible. Being a blended family with 4 kids can be hard, real hard. Our children's lives are richer, fuller - we can provide things for them that we wouldn't have been able to otherwise. It also has made Katie and I grow closer. Working on this together, truly being a team and knowing that WE did it together, is an amazing feeling! I know what hesitations you may have because I had them too. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a walk in the park. This business takes a lot of time and dedication. There are late nights and early mornings. But to us, it's not just a business anymore. It's an adventure, it's us growing together as we grow our sales.
If you ever want to chat with someone, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm an open book and would love to talk!
Ps: If you think her closet is bad now, just wait.....your whole house will be a closet! ;)
LuLaBro of Amy Epoddle | Boise, ID
My name is Eric. I am originally from Las Vegas, NV. I married my high school sweetheart Amy, and together we run a video production company specializing in online content...in other words, we make YouTube videos full time! We have been working side by side from home every single day for the past 2 years and we love it! Prior to YouTube, I was in the warehousing and distribution field. It was something I sort of fell into out of high school and continued to do through college. Eventually, I was recruited by a survival gear company to come to Boise, ID and open their distribution center. This was a great move for us and we love it here! I had a great job, but I just wasn't passionate about the work I was doing. While maintaining my day job, I started to develop a love for creating videos in my free time. I started uploading videos to YouTube over 6 years ago and this has always been something I did on the side until my wife and I, as a team, decided to turn my passion into my career. Flash forward to now and we produce a wide variety of content and web series online and have worked with some amazing brands! Amy has really stood by me as I have chased this dream but we have wanted to find something for her that she could call her own and devote her passion towards. Enter LuLaRoe! After months of researching new ways to expand our business and give Amy a new outlet, we found this amazing opportunity. Amy loves the clothing, she loves the LuLaRoe community, and she is a Facebook queen...so the choice was a no brainer! I support her 1 Million percent and I can't wait to watch her find success and build an incredible LLR business!
LuLaBro of Tessa Hostetter | Triangle, VA
I am a Central Illinois transplant to Northern Virginia which makes me a huge Chicago Sports Fan in a self-aware but relatively benign sports area when considering my team’s rivals. I met my wife Tessa in high school and after 12 years of marriage we are more resolved than ever that we were blessed in finding each other so early because neither of us would have been good on the dating scene. We have two wonderful boys, Jaydon and Isaiah, which we spend a lot of time with through their activities and ours. Although, summer breaks at Grandma’s house seem to be too few and far between at times for all of us; especially as they get older and decide they want to challenge each other over everything. I have studied Finance, Business Administration, Contracting and Project Management which has led me to a day-time job managing programs for the Army. This has been a blessing as it has allowed a Veteran like me to still feel like I am helping my brothers-in-arms. My background has also made me a good complement to my wife and her drive to empower through LuLaRoe. I was the typical husband when Tessa approached me about LuLaRoe: “Is she serious?” “Can I deflect responsibility?” “Maybe she will lose interest, we have enough going on in our lives!” I feel my apprehension was normal but I took the necessary steps to gain the confidence and comfort I needed to charge head first with her into this awesome journey. I love seeing her face and the other women and husbands/boyfriends that we touch with this brand because the smiles, the excitement, the passion they have makes the late nights and sometimes added stress melt away. You’ll often see me in a live video, responding to customer questions, posting informational polls, or hyping up the group because I believe that having something for Tessa and I to truly engage in together has made us better as individuals thus, improving us as a whole... If you would like to discuss/ask questions about our early days in this journey, how we are handling early success, business improvements, future plans or anything you find important don’t hesitate to contact me. You can also review my blog “Confessions of a LuLaHubby” (http://lulahubby.blogspot.com/) where I have started to document the journey, processes, feelings and pitfalls we experienced and leave comments or ask questions there.
LuLaBro of Erin O'Rourke | San Diego, CA
Hi my name is Shane, Erin and I have been married for 12 years and we have a 9 year old daughter. We live in San Diego. I work nights for a grocery company and have been doing that for 20 years. When Erin decided to become a consultant and told me how lucrative the business could be I was a bit skeptical but felt it would be best to support her. It's been a roller coaster ride of emotions since she onboarded. I'm right there keeping her hopes up and telling her to hang in there because it will sell. I help out by making post office runs when she has a good sale and post her pop ups when she's at work during the day. LuLaRoe has helped out a lot with bills around the house. We are in it for the long run and know with hard work it will pay off!
LuLaBro of Jamie Nef | Atlanta, GA
In West Philadelphia, born and raised on the playgrounds is where I spent most of my days... just kidding. Actually, I'm originally from California but have been a Georgia transplant since 2007. My wife is Jamie Nef and she is crazy fun. It's been very interesting to watch her transition from elementary school teacher and Mom, to full time stay at home Mom, to now a stay at home Mom running a successful business. If you've gotten to know her then you already know that she's pretty incredible.
A little info about me. I have a Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Georgia Tech (Scheller College of Management). Jamie and I were married in 2011 and we have two little girls. I love sports (football and basketball especially) and still play basketball in a recreational league each week. By day, I am a business systems analyst working on a consulting contract with the CDC. By night, I am a total LuLaBro - helping Jamie with whatever she needs: taking care of our two girls, cooking dinner, shipping packages, sorting orders, you name it, I've done it.
My role in this adventure with LuLaRoe has always been to support Jamie with the business. I started out slow in terms of helping with the LuLaRoe stuff - you know, with LuLaRoe being mostly women's clothing, I wasn't sure where I would factor in but was handling most of the finances for the business. As time has gone on, I've gotten increasingly involved in the day-to-day operations. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would know so much about women's clothing! We love LuLaRoe and the culture and principles that this great company was founded on. It has been a great blessing in our lives and we're excited and happy that we get to help others feel beautiful every day.
